Hello! My name is Sherri Ware. I’ve have had the pleasure of teaching at JCCS for over 25 years. I have taught a variety of subjects through the years. I currently teach Pre-Algebra, American History, and Bible for Junior High. I also teach World History for the sophomores. I love the challenging curriculum here at JCCS that involves students in the learning process through hands-on and project-based learning which prepares them for college. Also, the Christ-centered agenda at the JCCS is producing young men and women who are focused on serving the Lord.
My original certification from Bethany College was for teaching secondary physical education and health. Later, I obtained a degree in elementary education (K-8) and then a master’s degree in education from the University of Steubenville.
My husband and I have 1 child, 2 beautiful grandchildren, and 2 yellow labs that fill our lives with activity and fun. I also teach an adult Sunday school class in my local church. God has been very good to me by giving me a truly wonderful place to work, a great family, and a godly church in which to serve.
