After accepting a position at Jefferson County Christian School two years ago, I am overwhelmed with blessings and am so thankful that God has allowed me this opportunity to serve Him. It is such a joy to see students grow not only in their academics, but more in importantly in their spiritual walk.
What a wonderful blessing it is to use the education and experience God has given me, and to pass along my knowledge to students. I received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Bethany College in 2002 and a Masters degree in Education from Franciscan University in 2006. I began my teaching career at Belmont Vocational School teaching the mathematics courses for carpentry, machine trades, nursing, and cosmetology. I then accepted a position at Steubenville High School. Throughout the thirteen years of service there, I taught intervention mathematics, Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics. God has blessed me with these opportunities and has led me to my current position here at JCCS. I am excited and humbled at all God has done for me and look forward to the adventures He still has in store.
