- St. Nicholas was a 4th century bishop, who used his entire inheritance to assist the needy, the sick and the suffering. There are many legends surrounding him but ultimately, he is remembered for his selfless generosity. To commemorate the day, elementary and middle school students will leave a shoe in the hallway and the high school students will leave a treat in each shoe!
- Also, this year's treat will reflect the historical practice of giving each child an orange (to represent the gold coins St. Nicholas left for the poor) and a small amount of candy.
- 9th-12th graders: Please bring in a bag of nut free candy by Thurs. 12/4
