English, Public Speaking, Elementary Spanish
Hello, my name is Renee Hargett. I have been teaching at JCCS for a little over one year. I teach English and literature. This year I have the pleasure of teaching third grade Spanish. I attended the University of Pittsburgh, where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree. My major was history and political science. I also attended Chatham University, where I received my teaching certification.
My husband’s name is Michael. I have three grown children: Matthew, Heather, and Jessica. Jessica and Heather are twins. I have one granddaughter Alessa, who is four, and another granddaughter Madison, who arrived in July.
I live in Pennsylvania. I also work at the Huntington Learning Center in Robinson, where I prepare high school students to take their ACT or SAT tests, proofread essays, and tutor in Spanish.
It is so hard for me to pick a favorite passage of the Bible, since I have so many; however, a couple of favorites are Ephesians 3:17-19, Psalm 23, and Romans 5:1-5.
I feel very blessed to be teaching at such a fine Christian school. The Holy Spirit is evident in every hall and classroom here.
