Mrs. Pine's & Mrs. Rice's kindergarten and Mrs. Conn's Pre-K are all going to Hozak Farms on Friday, October 11.  Cost is $8 per person and each student should have an adult chaperone/driver.  We will leave from the JCCS Multipurpose room at 8:30 that morning and students will be dismissed to their grown-ups at the farm.

• Parent-Teacher Conferences are at the end of the first quarter and are important to the success for the remainder of the school year. 
• Conferences are Thursday evening, October 17th from 3pm to 7pm.  If parents are unable to attend that evening, teachers have other available meeting times during that week as well.

• Come out & bring family & friends to the JCCS PTF Community Fall Festival!  
  • It is Saturday, October 19th 1:00-4:00pm in our lower parking lot 
  • Free Entry! 
  • Lots of Food Trucks, Games, Fun & Fellowship!

  • The event will be Saturday, October 19th 7:00-9:00pm in our multipurpose room.  
  • There is a sign-up sheet outside Mrs. Johnson's room.  Students are asked to bring a snack.  To have a variety, the following as assigned by grade:  
    • 9th: drinks, 10th: salty snack, 11th: sweet snack, 12th: your choice (something fun!) 
  • $5 entry fee due the night of the event.  
  • This is a time for our 9th-12th graders to bond & have fun!  There will be a Western Themed "Best Dressed" Competition, Square Dancing, & Plenty of Games!  

• Get your invites out for the Pastor and Church Leader Appreciation Breakfast and Chapel! 
  • Invitations went home in packets to each family.  If you need another, there are plenty in the office.  
  • It is being held here at JCCS on Thursday, October 24th 8:00-9:15am.  
  • Please have your child fill out the invite & give to their Pastor/Church Leader so they can mark their calendars & RSVP to Mrs. Martin kmartin@myjccs.org
