YSU Information Session for High School Students & Parents!    

• Message from Mrs. Potin, School Counselor: On Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 1:00 pm, we will be having an admissions and financial aid representative from Youngstown State University holding an information session here at JCCS to introduce the offerings at the new YSU - Steubenville branch (former EGCC building) that will be opening this Fall. Since this will be a local resource for higher education, we want to provide an opportunity for families to find out more about what types of majors, tech and training opportunities are offered, what costs are and what financial aid opportunities will exist. We are also looking to add YSU to our College Credit Plus opportunities for our students and look forward to finding out how they can be a resource for us. Please email Mrs. Potvin at spotvin@myjccs.org if you are planning to attend. RSVP is not necessary, but we would like to let the YSU team know about how many people will be coming to the meeting.
